About SEA Groove
SEA Groove is a surfer musician aka Afonso Castanheira or Blue Beard (double bass, voice, composition and lyrics). He comes from Baleal seas (Portugal).
He began acting at 14 June 2013, launched in February 2014 his first album - Mar à Vista (Sea Sight) with the special participation of Chullage, Braima Galissa, Pedro Castanheira and Caroline Oulman. Recorded at A'MAR Estúdio.
SEA Groove began in trio, through the band some musicians: Hugo Trindade, Mauro Ribeiro, Tahina Rahary, Daniel Neto, João Grilo and David Canhoto.
Also played with guest musicians: Luis Pucarinho, Chullage, Junior (Terrakota), Alexandre Andrade and Helena Madeira, Louis Lane and Mário Lopes.
In September and October 2014 did the SEA Groove TRIPTOUR Madeira in 2014, a tour and surf trip, 7 days 7 stages 7 peaks and returned in November to a performance in the international surfing championship Heavy Water Invitational.
From 2015 SEA Groove started playing duo, presenting this new set in B.leza.
2016 SEA Groove launches his second album - Maré (Sea Tide) with the drummer David Canhoto.
Now he plays as a solo performer, with The Ocean Travelers, or different guests.
Azulu is the first part of SEA Groove's third and new album, made deep in the sea at A'MAR in Baleal. His first work as a multi-instrumentalist musician and producer. Azulu is an experience between styles and feelings in life, a searching about where we are and where we can be.
